Callahan and Clark are both members of the US Marines and are both scheduled for assignments which will take them away from their home in Holly Ridge, NC, for six months: 4/29/2019-10/31/2019. Callahan and Clark are hoping to find a great, active foster home for their energetic and beautiful black German Shepard, Ava.
Ava is a 2 year old spayed female German Shepard. She is a petite GSD at only 55lbs. Ava is crate trained, working on her leash manners, and knows commands for sit, down, and stay. She’s energetic and intelligent, and would likely be receptive and happy to learn other training tricks if a foster were interested in that. Ava is a typical puppy: she loves to run and play with other dogs, she likes to chew, and she’s been known to dig a hole or two! Ava would ideally do best in an active home with a family who likes to take walks or go to the dog park or doggy daycare to keep her busy and well exercised. Do you think you could give Ava the perfect home away from home?
