Introducing Mia and Cochise (pronounced Kow-Chees)! Their owner is in the Army and is deploying to Germany for three years. Once established, the family will see about bringing the dogs with them, and they are checking into options. They do not need to stay together. The dogs are currently in Grovetown, GA, and the owner can transport them up to a day’s drive.
Mia Fur Facts
- Female, Lab Mix
- 6-years-old, 55 lbs
- Medium Energy, Leash trained
- Good with people and teenage children
- Not good with other dogs when owners or Cochise is around
- Very protective and jealous of others.
Fun Facts:
Mia is very loving and loves to cuddle. She is happiest when she is getting attention from anyone. She loves people and never tires of affection. She enjoys going for walks, car rides, and visiting friends and family. Mia is good on walks but can not go to dog parks. Pet sitters have said she was good with other dogs when owners and Cochise are not around, but the perfect foster home should not have other pets or young children.
Cochise Fur Facts
- Male, Whippet Mix
- 8-years-old, 60 lbs
- Medium Energy
- Good with people, older children, and other dogs and cats
- Crate trained- but not necessary – no destructive tendencies
Fun Facts:
Cochise is a complete sweetheart. He loves to go to the dog park, play with other dogs, and run around. Cochise is a loving dog and enjoys playing with people, other dogs, and children. He is very gentle and sweet. He is happiest when he has space to run and play with other dogs. Cochise would rather run around than be on a leash and will try and pull you along on a walk. Cochise is a bit of a watchdog and will let you know when others are outside.
