Leyna’s owner is in the Airforce and will be deploying overseas. She is looking for a special person to care for her oversized baby till she returns.
The owner is willing to transport her to ensure a safe and secure home for Leyna.

Fun Facts
Leyna had a rough start in life and was used for breeding and as a boar hunting dog in Texas. Due to her rough start, her teeth are ground down, with numerous scars on her body. Leyna is a sweet, loving dog around people. Leyna has a high prey drive from her boar hunting days, so she can be a little unpredictable around other dogs but gets along with them about fifty percent of the time. Leyna does love people and older teenagers; she is very affectionate and playful. However, when other dogs are around, she will be protective of her people.
Leyna has been in training for over a year to help with her socialization and is fine with other dogs when “working,” but due to unpredictability, the preferred foster home would not have other pets or young children.
Leyna is leash and crate trained and is entirely a loving pet as long as no other dogs are around.
