Sarah and her husband were blessed with a beautiful baby girl born in October of 2018, who is now facing some challenging illness in her first few months of life. PACT is hoping to provide a foster for the young family’s terrier mix, Lady, while the new parents stay at the hospital with their baby. Lady needs a foster near Thousand Oaks, CA, from 2/10/2019 – 8/30/2019.
Lady is a 3 year old, 20lbs terrier mix. She is scruffy, fluffy, and adorable. Lady has been spayed and is up to date on her vaccinations, and microchipped. She is crate trained and leash trained, and understands commands for sit, stay, and come. Lady has lived successfully with other dogs and cats before. PACT is looking for a foster home that can provide structure and stability to Lady over the next few months. In trying to help, Sarah’s extended family has been passing Lady from one family home to the next, which is causing the poor girl some distress. The best foster home for Lady would be a calm, routinely environment where she will receive lots of love and a regular schedule. If you think you can give Lady a temporary home, please let us know!
