Shawn is a member of the US Army and recently changed stations with his family and pets. Unfortunately, the family’s new housing can only accommodate two of their three dogs, so Shawn and his wife are looking for a temporary foster home to look after their dachshund, Copper, while they arrange for new housing. Copper is currently in Fort Polk, LA, and will need foster care from 4/28/2019 – 9/30/2019.
Copper is a 3 year old neutered male Dachshund/Chihuahua mix. Copper is about 15lbs, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations and parasite preventatives. Copper is crate and leash trained and knows commands for sit, stay, lay down, go to bed, and get your toy. Copper loves other dogs and children, but doesn’t have any experience with cats. Can you offer Copper a safe place to stay?
