Kira and her husband are members of the US Army. Kira’s husband is already on assignment, and Kira is preparing for her own training assignment from 5/20/2019-9/20/2019. With no family near Fountain, CO, Kira and her husband are desperate to find a foster to look after their two great dogs, Bear and Penny.
Bear is a 4 year old neutered male lab/collie mix. He’s about 65lbs and up to date on his parasite and heartworm preventatives. Bear is a high energy dog that loves to go for walks, runs, and hikes. Bear is good with other dogs, cats, and young children, and would do best in a home with a fenced in yard for him to run! Bear knows commands for sit, stay, down, and go lay down.
Penny is a 4 year old spayed female lab/pit mix. Penny is about 50lbs and up to date on her parasite and heartworm preventatives. Penny is a cuddle bug who does well with adults and select other dogs. She loves her brother Bear, but can be fearful, and does best with confident dogs. Penny knows commands for sit, stay, down, and shake. Penny does really well in a calm household with a good routine.
