Spartan needs a foster in IL!

Jeffrey is a member of the US Marines preparing for an overseas assignment which will take him away from his Roselle, IL, home from 5/31/2019 – 6/30/2020. PACT is hoping to find a great foster in the Roselle area to give his GSD, Spartan, a great home for the following 13 months.

Spartan is a 5 year old neutered male German Shepard Dog and is (usually) about 80lbs. ***Spartan is currently dealing with a pancreatic issue which has caused him to lose a staggering amount of weight, and has made him susceptible to a skin infection. Spartan will need a foster who is willing to communicate with his veterinarian and administer his pills/medicated baths as instructed so that he can get better!***

When Spartan is feeling well, he has a beautiful coat and a fun-loving personality. He is microchipped, leash trained, crate trained, and knows commands for sit, stay, down, up, off, boop, shake, and leave it. Spartan enjoys attending doggy daycare once or twice a week. Spartan does well with other dogs in neutral territory, but due to his condition it would be best if he could be the only pet in the household.
