Crystal and her family were recently stationed overseas and will be away from the US for the next two to three years. Their dog, Kenai, was all set to travel with them, but due to a laboratory mix up, his paperwork could not be completed in time for his flight. Now that the summer is here, Kenai’s flight is restricted due to the heat, and he’ll have to wait a few months before he can join his family overseas. PACT is hoping to find a family with no other pets in the Atlanta area where Kenai can be safely looked after until he’s ready to fly.
Kenai is a 6 year old intact male Husky. Kenai is about 75 lbs, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, and heartworm preventative. Kenai is a puller on leash, but he has been crate trained and knows commands for sit, stay, lay down, dance, speak, beg, hi five, and shake. Kenai cannot be housed with other dogs, but is safe with cats and children, so long as they don’t bug him when he’s in his crate or tug on his tail. Kenai is a typical energetic, talkative husky. He loves to play with his squeaky toys too.
