Natasha is a member of the US Coast Guard who is currently away at training until 10/20/2019. Natasha had arranged for a friend to care for her dog Dexter near their home in Quincy, MA, but unfortunately their plans changed and now Dexter is in need of a place to stay!
Dexter is a 9 year old neutered male sheltie. Dexter is about 40 lbs, up to date on his vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention. Dexter is leash and crate trained, and knows commands for sit, lay down, shake, and off. Dexter gets along well with medium and small sized dogs, calm children, and cats. He’s a lover, but he also likes his independence – Dexter will follow you from room to room, but won’t insist on being in your lap. Dexter will need a home with few or no stairs, as he has some trouble going up and down flights. Overall, Dexter is a sweet and well-behaved boy just looking for a place to be loved for a few months.
