Jeremy is preparing for an assignment overseas with the US Navy from 8/1/2019-3/31/2020. Jeremy had made arrangements for his dog, Harper Mae, to stay with a friend of his – but unfortunately that friend backed out of caring for her! With only a few weeks left to find a place for Harper, Jeremy is distressed and hoping to find a great foster near their home in Virginia Beach, VA.
Harper Mae is a 3 year old, 50lbs, spayed female hound mix. Harper is microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Harper is a bit of an alpha dog and prefers to play with dogs who are lower energy. She would love to play with older kids, but cannot be housed with cats. Harper is leash trained and walks with a Gentle Leader harness, crate trained, and knows commands for sit, paw, lay down, and stay.
