Jamey is a member of the US National Guard who is currently on assignment overseas until 7/1/2020. Jamey’s wife and their three young children have moved into a rental property which could not accommodate their almost 1 year old Golden Retriever puppy, Ruben. Ruben is looking for a foster home in the Troy, MO, area starting ASAP!
Ruben is a 10 month old, 60lbs, intact male Golden Retriever. Ruben has not yet been neutered due to a condition called cryptorchidism, and will need to be evaluated after his first birthday for a neuter surgery. PACT will be specifically looking for a foster who would be willing to take Ruben for evaluation and monitor his recovery after a neuter. Otherwise, Ruben is a happy and healthy boy! He is up to date on his vaccinations and heartworm prevention. Ruben is leash and crate trained, and knows commands for sit and fetch. Ruben is still a young puppy and could do with some training and socialization – he’s a blank slate. Ruben does well with young children.
