Jacob is a member of the US Army preparing for an overseas assignment for the next several months. Jacob’s family is waiting for approval to travel with him, including the family pup, Sam. Sam’s family will be staying temporarily in quarters where pets aren’t allowed. Sam needs a place to stay starting ASAP until 3/15/2020 near El Paso, TX.
Sam is a 2 year old 70lbs neutered male Spanish podenco mix. Sam is microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations and heartworm preventative. Sam is crate trained and walks well on leash. He can be nervous around/bark at strangers, but settles in quickly and is a big lover. Sam does well with other dogs and young children. He can be a curious guy, so all tempting human treats (like garbage, flip flops, etc.) should be put away outside of his reach. Otherwise, Sam is a sweet, lovable, submissive guy who responds to commands for sit, stay, speak, play dead, roll over, jump, and crate.
