Daniel is a member of the US Air Force preparing for a year-long assignment overseas. He and his family are unable to take their two dogs, Dixie and Jaeger, along for the trip. The dogs are a huge part of Daniel’s children’s lives, and the family would hate to give them up. Dixie and Jaeger are looking for a foster from 1/1/2020 – 1/1/2021 near Warrensburg, MO.
Dixie is a 2 year old spayed female lab mix. She’s about 60lbs, microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention. Dixie has been crate and leashed trained, and knows commands for sit, heel, come, go lay down. Dixie is great with kids of all ages and other dogs. Daniel says that Dixie loves to cuddle, and will take turns with Jaeger watching over the kids.
Jaeger is a 7 year old neutered male Brittany Spaniel. Jaeger is leash and crate trained and knows commands for sit, heal, come, go lay down, and high-five! Jaeger loves his kids and does well with other dogs. Jaeger has been with Dan his whole life, and is was his first “baby.” Jaeger is particularly attached to Jen and Dan’s oldest daughter. Please help these two wonderful family dogs be with their kids again.
