Sherri is a veteran undergoing medical treatment in Newark, NJ. Sherri is hoping to find a foster for her cats, Rocky and Max, while she recovers from ASAP – 3/1/2020.
Princess and Vida are spayed female cats. Vida is the mother of Princess, Rocky, and Max, and is about 4 years old. Princess, like her brothers, is 2 years old. Princess is a long haired cat, and Vida is short haired. Both girls are under 10lbs and up to date on their vaccinations. Here’s what Sherri has to say about Princess: Princess definitely acts like a Princess. She loves being pampered and loves being brushed. She is very playful and loves chasing after toys that especially bounces. She knows when I’m not feeling well and often times, I will wake up to her right by side. She has become like my protector. She sleeps in her favorite chair or next to it in the bedroom with me. She watches over me as I sleep and is very aware of changes in moods. She is an awesome cat and I love her so much. She also loves playing cat games on the iPad.” And Vida: “She saved my life and I saved hers. She is my best friend and I love her so much. She knows when I’m not feeling well and if I don’t get up in a reasonable timeframe, she will ensure I get up by meowing until I do. She is very loving and affectionate once comfortable and she is very quiet and well behaved.
I didn’t know at the time when we first met that she was pregnant. She went missing for two days and then one day I was sitting on my step, and one by one, she brought her 3 little ones to me. She trusted me enough to bring her babies to me and our bond has been stronger ever since. I was definitely not expecting seeing me having a cat, moreso 3 additional ones, but I chose to keep them and make them my service animals. Vida saved my life when I was at one of my lowest points in my life physically and emotionally, and I would probably be dead if it wasn’t for her. I love her so much.”
Please consider giving Princess and Vida a temporary home.
