Maya needs a foster in TX!

Joel is a member of the US Army and is currently on assignment overseas.  Unfortunately the person he trusted with his faithful dog, Maya, is threatening to surrender her to an animal shelter or worse, leave her out to fend for herself on the streets.  Joel desperately wants his dog back when he comes home on 3/31/2020.  Can you save Maya so that Joel can have his best friend back?

Maya is a 1 year old, 50lbs, spayed female Great Pyrenees.  Maya is microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, and heartworm preventative.  She is currently being bounced around in foster care with a local rescue who is trying to help out.  All of her previous fosters describe her as mellow and non-destructive.  She may bark when someone comes to the front door, but is easily corrected and does not jump up on new people.  She gets along well with other dogs, cats, and farm animals.  She doesn’t have experience with young children.  She is a big lap dog who loves affection.  Maya walks well on leash and knows how to sit on command.  Joel says that anyone who has a loving heart and will treat his baby with kindness and care would be the perfect foster for Maya.  Please help Joel see his big baby girl again!
