Amber is a Marine veteran who is currently seeking treatment for PTSD. Amber’s dog, Orion, has been staying with her mom, but due to circumstances unrelated to this sweet guy, he isn’t able to stay at Grandma’s through Amber’s treatment. Orion needs a foster home near Stockholm, NJ, from ASAP – 3/1/2020!
Orion is a 2 year old, 60lbs, neutered male Border Collie mix. He is up to date on his vaccinations, flea/tick/heartworm medication, and he’s microchipped. Orion is crate trained and knows commands for sit, stay, and shake, but needs some work with his leash-walking manners. Orion can be a little anxious when left alone, and actually prefers to be in his crate when his person is away from home. He loves to play with other dogs, but doesn’t have experience with cats or kids. Amber says that Orion is the sweetest dog she’s ever met, and that he loves and get’s along with everyone…even a small heard of cows they once met on a walk!
