Ares needs a foster in NC!

Ares’ mom was recently activated with the US National Guard and only had a week’s notice to get her affairs in order before appearing for her assignment!  PACT is looking for a quick foster home for Ares’ near Charlotte, NC, from 11/2/2018 – 6/30/2019.  Could you keep Ares’ safe for the next 7 months?

Ares is a 1 year old, 65lbs Black lab/pittie mix.  Ares is not yet neutered, but will be during the foster term, so his foster parents will need to be okay with taking him in for his surgery and observing him through his recovery.  Otherwise, Ares is up to date on his Rabies/Distemper shots and flea/tick prevention.  Ares is crate trained and working on his leash training, and understands commands for sit, roll over, and lay down.  He’s still a puppy, so fosters should be ready to work with Ares on his training and give him plenty of walks to focus his energy.  Ares loves to play with other dogs, and has been a frequent flyer at dog parks and doggy daycare.  Ares does guard his food, so fosters should feed him separately from other animals/small children, or in his crate.
