Kay is a citizen in Midlothian, VA, who will be traveling to assist family going through a terminal cancer diagnosis. In the midst of one of the most horrible experiences any one family could endure together, Kay also has to worry about who will care for her constant companion, Denney the Cairn Terrier. Kay is not sure exactly how long she will be away from her home, but Denney will need foster care at least from 12/18/2019 – 1/31/2020. Can you give Denney a safe place to stay while his mom is away?
Denney is an 8 year old neutered male Cairn Terrier and is about 20lbs. Denney is fully vaccinated and up to date on his flea/tick prevention. Denney is a medium energy pup who likes to chase his fuzzy toys around the living room. He does well when introduced properly to other dogs and has lived successfully with cats in the past. He would do well with older, gentle children. Denney has a small problem with incontinence at night, but he can sleep in his crate with puppy pads to catch any nighttime piddles. Denney does especially well with lots of love and attention from his people.
