Adam and his wife are a US Marine family already stationed overseas until 2022. Their dog, Harleigh, had been safely placed with a trusted friend. Unfortunately, Harleigh’s foster’s apartment complex has recently changed the rules about their accepted breeds, and though Harleigh is sweet and well behaved, she can no longer stay in her current caretaker’s home. PACT is looking for a new foster for Harleigh from 1/1/2020 – 1/1/2022. PACT would be willing to break the time frame up amongst two or more fosters if needed.
Harleigh is a 1.5 year old spayed female Cane Corso mix. She is microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Harleigh is about 75lbs, and is a high energy dog who loves to go for walks/runs/bike rides and play with her friends at the dog park or doggy day care. Harleigh is friendly with other dogs, hasn’t had any experience with cats or young kids. She is crate trained, needs help with her leash manners, and knows commands for sit, lay down, and she’s working on stay. Adam says, “She can light up a room. The best foster home for Harleigh would be someone who has time to love on her. She is a high energy dog so she needs someone who can walk her daily, take her on runs, and play with her. She just needs someone who can give her the time and love she deserves. She is a great companion and loves to cuddle. She is a smart dog that still has room to grow and learn so someone who is patient and can continue to train her and work with her on the commands she already knows.” Adam and his wife are desperate to keep their baby. Please help PACT pull off a Christmas miracle for this wonderful family.
