Shauna is a member of the US Air Force and is currently stationed overseas from now until 5/2/2021. She is hoping to find the perfect foster home near Winchester, OH, for her sweet pittie, Lacey, until her family can be reunited again.
Lacey is a 9 year old spayed female pit bull mix. She’s about 50lbs, up to date on her vaccinations, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipped. Lacey is a rescue pup, and had a rough start to her life. She was sadly used as a bait dog, and can be fearful of other dogs. Despite being abused, Lacey has a lot of love in her heart, especially for babies (of all species!) Lacey loves cats, and children of all ages, and is very patient. Shauna says: “Lacey is the sweetest dog once she learns to trust you, she loves to cuddle and LOVES to play with stick (she doesn’t bring them back) she is amazing with anything that’s a baby! Absolutely adores kids. The perfect foster for Lacey would be a family with no young or female dog or a couple who doesn’t have a lot of visitors. Kids would be great so she gets lots of treats and attention. Cats are her favorite companions.”
