Briana is a member of the US Army who is already on assignment overseas. She had entrusted her dog Buddy to a friend who can no longer watch him. Briana has found a short term placement for Buddy, but he will need a foster from 1/31/2020 – 10/15/2020 to finish out her deployment! Buddy is currently in Bradenton, FL. Can you give him a home away from home?
Buddy is a 1 year old neutered male Catahoula leopard dog/hound mix. Buddy is about 65 lbs, up to date on his vaccinations, flea/tick medication, and he’s microchipped. Buddy is a high energy dog who will need plenty of exercise. Structure walks, hikes, and runs, trips to the dog park and playing with his friends are all Buddy’s favorite things. Buddy does well with other dogs, but has not had experience with young kids or cats. He is afraid of cars and trucks. Buddy is crate trained, learning his leash manners, and knows commands for sit, lay down, and easy (taking a treat gently from Briana’s hand.) Can you offer this beautiful boy a place to stay?
Spencer is a member of the US Navy preparing for basic training and school in Safety Harbor, FL. His pup, Margo, will need a foster from 1/10/2020 – 1/1/2021.
Margo is a 9 year old spayed female Australian shepherd. She is 45lbs, up to date on her vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention. Spencer has raised Margo since she was just 6 months old. Margo is crate trained and knows lots of commands: sit, stay, lay down, roll over, high five. She’s a frisbee dog, too! Margo loves to cuddle and go for walks or play catch in the yard. Margo does well with other dogs and people, but should not be allowed to interact with kitties! Can you offer this lovely girl a place to stay?
