Astro needs a foster in PA!

Sara is a member of the US Army and has recently been stationed in barracks for the next year: 3/3/2020 – 3/3/2021.  Sara unfortunately won’t be able to keep her dog, Astro, with her during this time.  Sara and Astro are hoping to find a great foster near North Huntingdon, PA!

Astro is a 1 year old 30lbs neutered male Catahoula Leopard Dog mix. Astro is up to date on his vaccinations, crate trained, and working on his leash training.  He knows commands for sit, stay, crate, paw, lay down, roll over, and spin.  Astro is great with cats, but gets super excited around other dogs – and his energy is usually off putting to most other canine companions, though Sara thinks he would love a big dog buddy to show him the ropes.  Astro is a high energy pup and will need plenty of exercise and plenty of cuddles while his mom is away.  Sara says, “If you are feeling sad he just makes it disappear. He wants to be around someone all the time, he is so loving. In bed he will switch to small and big spoon , I have never seen a dog sleep the way he does.”
