Anthony is a member of the US Army and is currently on assignment overseas. Anthony had previously arranged for a friend to care for his two dogs, Lazy J and Aggie, while he was overseas, but unfortunately that person was unable to keep the pups safe. Anthony is hoping against hope that his girls will be able to find a loving foster home until he returns on 6/10/2020. Lazy J and Aggie are currently in Hope Mills, NC.
Lazy J is a 2 year old 60lbs female pit bull terrier. Lazy J will be scheduled for a spay prior to her entering foster care, and will need a kind and conscientious foster to check her surgery site and provide her with any post-op medications. J is up to date on her vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention. She is crate trained but pulls on leash, and she knows how to sit. J loves to play with other dogs and snuggle with Anthony. She is Aggie’s mom, and Anthony would like to keep them together.
Aggie is a 12 week old 20lbs female pit bull/husky mix. Aggie will also be scheduled for a spay prior to her entering foster care, and is up to date on her vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention. Aggie is basically a blank slate: she will need “puppy boot campt” in her new foster home and will require a lot of patience, exercise, and training. She is working on her crate and leash training and housebreaking and will need positive reinforcement to become the best dog she can be.
