Samantha is a member of the US Army Reserves and will be going away for basic training and school from 2/20/2020 – 11/20/2020. Samantha has been unable to find a friend or family member up to the challenge of her kitty’s daily medical needs, and is hoping to find a PACT foster near her home of Virginia Beach, VA.
Roxy is a 7 year old, 8 lbs, spayed female domestic shorthaired calico cat. She is up to date on her vaccinations and declawed. Roxy has diabetes and must be fed a special wet diet and given her insulin shot each day. All of Roxy’s food and medication will be provided for. Samantha says, “She loves to snuggle under the blankets at night. She is frisky and playful. She loves attention, so much so that she lay on your stomach or back to get attention. With some dogs she will lick their ears and face for long periods of time. She is partially blind so she is easily spooked with loud noises and being outside.”
