Eva is a member of the US Army who is currently overseas. She was supposed to return home in June, but due to COVID-19, her assignment has been extended to 12/24/2020, and unfortunately the family member who was watching her dogs has a pre-planned house move! PACT is hoping to find a great foster for Siberian huskies, Batman and Bandit, near their current home in Puyallup, WA.
Batman and Bandit are 3 year old, 60 lbs, neutered male Siberian huskies. They are both up to date on their vaccinations and microchipped. Batman and Bandit were litter mates, and love to run and play together. They both know commands for sit and shake, and are crate trained, but they need help with their leash manners. Batman and Bandit are super smart, super energetic, and sometimes those qualities can get them in trouble. These pups will need plenty of exercise and stimulation to keep them being the best dogs they can be.
Eva says, “Bandit and Batman are brothers from the same litter. Batman loves to be around people. He will sit on your feet when you are watching TV. He is also very charismatic and thinks every human is his best friend. Bandit is more of the loner. He loves to be outside and watch the birds and chase the squirrels. He will let you know when he is ready to come in. Bandit is also the talker (you know, that husky talk.) Neither of them are alphas, but Bandit seems to be the mastermind and Batman the one who carries out the deed. They are so smart. Bandit has figured out how to open my doors (they have a lever-type knob.) So he lets himself out if left unlocked. If only I could train him to close the doors! They are so sweet. The boys are around teenagers who play with them and walk them, let them on the couch and on their bed (though they aren’t allowed too.) A younger couple or a family with teenagers would be great to walk and play with the boys. A fenced yard. Preferably a large yard. A sled team in Alaska might be ideal! Just kidding – an animal lover would make the perfect foster!”
