Marc is a single Marine who recently received orders to deploy overseas for the next two years (1/9/2019-1/9/2021.) Since he will be staying in barracks while abroad, Marc can’t bring his two dogs, Dahlia and Kyoko, with him on the journey. Marc is looking for a foster in TX or one of the surrounding states to care for his girls while he’s gone.
Kyoko is an 11 year old spayed female pit mix. She is 55lbs and a big puddle of love! Her dad says that, “Kyoko is just the sweetest and loving little girl! She may weigh 55lbs but thinks she is just the biggest lap baby. She loves cuddling up and taking naps either in your lap or on your chest if you are laying down. One of my favorite things she does is when she is sitting in-between your legs getting all the loving she likes to tilt her head backwards to look at you instead of turning around and her squishy cheeks make her look like she’s toothless. Her nickname is squishy face. She also loves butt scratches!” Kyoko knows how to sit and is kennel trained.
Dahlia is a 1 year old spayed female lab mix. She is about 45lbs and is more cautious than her sister, but once she warms up to you there is no one more loyal. Marc says, “Dahlia – My little baby girl – the best thing about her is that when she is warmed up to people she is the most loving cuddly little dog there is. If you aren’t giving her enough love she will take your hands with her paws and pull you closer. She gives amazing puppy eyes!” Dahlia is also kennel trained and will sit when there are treats on hand.
