Susan is a citizen in Philadelphia, PA, who will be having a procedure that will leave her unable to care for her kitty, Biskit, from 9/14/2020 – 5/15/2021. Susan is desperate to find a great foster for Biskit, who is her only family.
Biskit is a 9 year old, 10lbs, neutered male domestic short haired cat. He is declawed and up to date on his vaccinations. Biskit can sometimes over groom himself when he’s stressed, and takes a daily medication for hairball control. Susan take diligent care of Biskit, and she feels that he takes great care of her in return! Susan says, “When he wants to be petted, he reaches out a paw and touches my hand to let me know that he needs petting!!! Very touching!!! He also likes to “catch” aluminum foil balls when he is in the mood. The perfect foster home for Biskit would be a no pet household, if possible, since I am not sure how he would relate to another cat, a household where he can receive lots of affection and the attention he thrives on. He needs to be indoors and not run the risk of running out. Biskit is strictly an indoor cat and I fear that if he ran out a door I would lose him. Given that he was front declawed by his prior human companions, he would be defenseless.”
