Kerry is a member of the US Army who will be going to basic training from 10/4/2020 – 3/15/2021. She is hoping to find a great foster for her dogs, Mia and Maggie, near their home in Mills, WY.
Mia is a 2 year old, 50 lbs, spayed female Australian Shepherd. Mia is crate trained and working on her leash manners. She is food motivated and smart. Kerry is hoping to find a foster for Mia with no other dogs, kids, or cats, who would be willing to foster Mia and her sister Maggie together, as Mia becomes stressed and will howl without her big sister around. Mia loves people, going for walks, runs, and hikes, and snuggling at home with Kerry’s daughter. Both Mia and Maggie share a prescription for medication to treat generalized anxiety.
Maggie is a 4 year old, 60 lbs, spayed female Australian Shepherd. Kerry has been with Maggie since day one – she was actually there the day Maggie was born. Maggie is a puller on leash, but is crate trained and knows commands for sit, and sit pretty. Mia and Maggie take a prescription for generalized anxiety. They will need an active foster who is willing to give them structured exercise and who can give them a calm, patient, and loving environment.
