Michael is a young US Navy serviceman who is currently stationed oversea. Michael’s friend has been caring for Luna while he’s been gone but just learned that he is being transferred to a new duty station and unable to take Luna with him. Michael’s family is unable to keep his dog, Luna, due to the number of pets they have at home. Luna is an adorable, charismatic lab mix with a heart of gold. Could you offer her a place to stay near Lubbock, TX, from now until December 31, 2020?
Luna is a 3 year old yellow lab mix. Luna is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention., and knows commands for sit, stay, and shake. Luna is leash and crate trained, and should be crated when a foster leaves the house so that she doesn’t get up to any mischief. Luna is only 40lbs and loves cats and dogs and kids. She would do best in a home with active family members or other dogs to play with. Michael says, “She knows when you’re upset or sad, she’s a snuggler. She’s not a small dog but she’s medium size but she tries to sit in your lap and be right by your side. She knows how to sit, shake, come when her name is called, and if you tell her to “go to bed”, she’ll go to her crate if she has one.”
