Kolton and his family are members of the US Air Force, and are preparing for a change of station overseas. Kolton has been working with a pet transport company to have his pup, Murphy, flown with the family, but unfortunately due to the pandemic Murphy isn’t able to fly right now. The family is now looking for a foster for Murphy from 1/6/2021 – 1/31/2021, when he will be picked up by the transport company and able to fly and rejoin his people.
Murphy is a 3 year old, 135lbs, neutered male Great Dane. Murphy is up to date on his vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, heartworm preventative. Murphy is crate and leash trained and knows commands for sit, lay down, stay, hide and seek, fetch, wait, and okay. Murphy’s breed is prone to bloat, so Kolton has trained him to lay down for an hour before and after his meal times. He is very obedient, and loves to play or spend time with other dogs and older kids. Kolton says, “He loves his toys and is great at reading the room. If it’s chill time he will sleep all day and if it’s play time he loves to play fetch or play hide and seek.”
