Ron is a member of the US National Guard and is going for training from 1/23/2021 – 5/12/2021. Ron is hoping to find a pet-free home for his buddy, Reese, for the 4 short months he’ll be away. Reese is currently in Providence, RI!
Reese is a 9 year old, 70 lbs, neutered male American pit bull mix. He is up to date on his vaccinations and heartworm preventative. Reese is crate trained and pulls a bit on leash, so he will need a strong handler. He knows commands for sit, stay, lay down, and go to bed. Reese takes a while to get used to other pets in his space, so for the length of his foster term, PACT is looking for a foster without other pets who can give Reese all of their attention. Ron says, “Reese loves to give hugs! He will want you to come over to him and kneel so he can sit up and put his arms on your shoulders to lick you. He loves to go under the covers at night. He is oddly comfortable in clothing, like his doggy jacket. Reese’s perfect foster home would be a single person or couple, without little kids or other pets. Reese will be very excited to cuddle at night and sleep under the covers, if allowed. He just wants to be pet and loved and loves going on walks.”
