Holden and his wife are members of the US Air Force and will be in training from 4/15/2021 – 9/1/2021. They are hoping to find a great foster for their pup Freya near their home in Madisonville, LA.
Freya is a 5 year old, 80lbs, spayed female Golden Retriever/Husky mix. Freya is up to date on her vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention. Freya loves to run and play, and she LOVES belly rubs. Freya is crate trained, pulls heavily on leash and could use some help with her basic obedience, but will respond to a command to sit. Freya does have some food aggression, and should be fed away from other pets. She does well with other dogs, but doesn’t have experience with kids and cats. Holden says, “She is very high energy and loves to play and is very loving. She loves to run up to people and roll over on their feet showing her belly to be rubbed. Loves belly rubs more than anything.”
