Stefan is a member of the US Army preparing for an overseas assignment which will take him away from his Fort Sill, OK, home from 7/6/2020 – 8/6/2022. Stefan needs a foster to help him keep his dog, Oliver, safe stateside until he returns from serving the US overseas. Oliver has been with a PACT foster in TX for the past year, but she was only able to commit one year for Oliver’s term, so we’re now looking for another great foster in the Houston, TX area for this charismatic guy.
Oliver is a 5 year old, 50lbs, neutered male Basenji mix. He is up to date on his vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention, and microchipped. Oliver is energetic and loves to run, play, take hikes, and cuddle up with his people. Stefan says he is super affectionate, and would love a family that would allow him to cuddle up with them in the evenings. Oliver needs some help with his leash training, but he is crate trained and knows commands for sit, lay, and come. Oliver will need a calm household without many visitors or other pets. Oliver’s foster for the past year says that he loves to talk and be part of the action.
