Brooklyn and Brinks need a foster ANYWHERE in the US!

Kevin is a member of the US Air Force currently overseas until 9/30/2023.  Prior to leaving for his overseas duties, he had left his dogs Brooklyn and Brinks in the care of a trusted couple with the understanding that they would care for the two pups until Kevin returned home for them.  Unfortunately the couple have decided they aren’t able to care for Brooklyn and Brinks any longer, and are asking Kevin to find another option for them by 7/31/2021 near Chandler, AZ or ANYWHERE in the US!

Brooklyn is an 11 year old, 55lbs, spayed female American Pit Bull Terrier mix.  She is microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations.  She is allergic to grains and poultry.  Brooklyn is crate and leash trained and knows commands for sit, paw, lay, take it, and speak.  Brooklyn is great with other dogs and kids 6+.  She is a very talkative and energetic pup who likes to let you know when there’s someone at the door!  She loves to go for walks and be loved on in the evenings.  Kevin says, ” Brooklyn is a very sensitive dog and will immediately provide any human with affection as soon as she senses something is wrong. She is very protective of her environment (the houseghold) and alerts of any strange noises via barking. Very good guard dog.  Brooklyn and Brinks are a bonded pair and have been together since they were puppies. They get along great and are the opposite of each other: Brooklyn is high energy and guards the house, Brinks is very mellow and guards the owner of the house. They are very loving and have never hurt anyone. They love people and children.”

Brinks in an 11 year old, 75lbs, neutered male American Pit Bull Terrier mix.  He is microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations.  Brinks is crate and leash trained and knows commands for sit, give paw, take it, stay, and lay down.  He loves people of all ages, but does not get along with other animals besides his sister.  Kevin says, “Brinks is a true companion and protector and will follow you aorund the house.  The perfect foster family will be loving and caring and open to fostering Brooklyn and Brinks as they are a bonded pair. They will stay up to date on his vet needs (vaccinations, teeth cleaning, annual comprehensive exam). They will enjoy taking Brinks on walks and be patient with him as he can be a bit slow. The family will consider him part of their family and provide him with lots of hugs and kisses. Brinks loves to be petted!”
