Jason is a member of the US Army who is preparing for an overseas assignment from 9/20/2021 – 6/30/2022. Jason doesn’t have any family or friends nearby to care for his dog, Amigo, near their home in Fort Riley, KS.
Amigo is a 2 year old, 105lbs, neutered male German Shepherd. He is microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention. Amigo is crate and leash trained and knows commands for sit, lay down, wait, go get it, and shake, in both English and German. Jason says that Amigo is sweet and very smart, and an ideal foster home would give him plenty of exercise and make sure that Amigo is following the rules in their home.
