Daphne is a member of the US Air Force who will be going to training until 3/2/2022. Daphne’s family all live abroad, and she has no close friends near her home in Merritt Island, FL, to care for her special little pup, Luna. Luna has been fostered with another PACT family since February 2021, but unfortunately they are undergoing some changes due to their own unexpected deployment with the US military. PACT is hoping to find another great foster for Luna until she can be reunited with Daphne in March.
Luna is a 1 year old, 45 lbs, spayed female rat terrier mix. She is microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention. Luna is leash and crate trained, and knows commands for sit, down, paws, roll over, touch it, stay, come, drop it, and leave it. Luna is great with other dogs and cats, and though she hasn’t had experience with kids, Daphne and PACT both think she would do fine with a few kids to play with in the yard. Daphne says, “I adopted her when I lived in the Caribbean. She is shy but adorable and very funny.”
