June was very suddenly admitted to the hospital in early December and will be in physical rehab until 2/1/2019! Her kind neighbor has been watching over her two dachshunds, Cooper and Parker, but the pups are starting to become depressed without their mom or another person living in their home. We’re hoping to take some of the pressure off of June and her neighbor this month by providing a loving home for Cooper and Parker near Bastrop, TX, from 1/3/2019-2/3/2019.
Cooper is a 9 year old 25lbs neutered male long haired dachshund. His sister Parker is 6 years old, 16lbs, and spayed. Both dogs are crate trained and walk well on leash, but don’t really know any tricks. They both LOVE tummy rubs and affection of all kinds. The dogs would do well with another low key dog in the home, but are nervous around small, energetic children. It would be a big help to June if the pups could be safe in a foster home this month, so please let us know if you are interested!
