Ellie- is still in need of a foster
Michael is a member of the US Army who is currently on assignment overseas. Michael’s mom has been caring for his dogs, Ellie and Navi, but dogs are not allowed on her rental property. Michael is now looking for a foster near the pups’ current location in Greenfield, CA, from 9/7/2021 – 9/7/2023.
Still in need foster for = Ellie is a 9 year old, 75 lbs, spayed female German Shepherd. She is up to date on her vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention. Ellie is crate and leash trained and knows commands for sit and stay. Ellie is great with her sister Navi, but hasn’t lived with another dog in the home. They do well visiting with their doggy friends at the park or at their friends homes. Both girls love to bark at cats, and should not be in a home with kitties. Michael says, “Ellie is very friendly and outgoing, she loves to ride in cars and go for short walks. She likes to chase the ball, but doesn’t always bring it back. She needs to be brushed but doesn’t like to sit still long. She is afraid of thunder/lightning.”
Foster found for Navi is an 8 year old, 76lbs, spayed female pit bull mix. Navi is also up to date on her vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention. Navi is crate trained, but does pull on leash during walks. She knows commands for sit and stay. Navi loves her chew toys. Michael says, “She is very friendly with people, she loves attention. She likes car rides, short walks, bath/brushing and hanging out with her lifelong pal, Ellie.”
