Erin is a young member of the US Air Force who will be going on a routine training trip for two months 2/18/2019 – 5/3/2019. Erin will be across the country from her Warwick, RI, home, and with her family across the country and her friends leaving for training as well, there is no one locally available to watch over her two funny and smart border collies, Agnes and Stevie.
Steven is a 7 year old border collie/Australian shepard mix. He is neutered and about 70lbs. Stevie is incredibly attached to his sister Agnes, and would love a home where they could be together for the two months his mom is away. Stevie is great on leash and knows commands for sit, stay, roll over, and lay down. Erin has also taught both of her dogs a touchdown dance – throw your arms in the air and say “touchdown!” and the dogs will also get up on their hind legs with their paws in the air. Stevie will Wait for you to say it’s okay to eat a treat – even if it’s on his nose or paws! This smart guy gets along well with other dogs and cats, but would do best in a home with no small children. Steven takes a little longer to warm up to new men, but within ten minutes of acquaintanceship (and maybe a few rump scratches thrown in for good measure!) Stevie will be anyone’s new best friend.
Agnes is a 7 year old collie mix. She is spayed and about 50lbs. Agnes is an attention hog. Erin says that at the dog park, Agnes will spend half her time playing with other dogs, and the other half seeking out strangers to pay attention to her. Erin has even seen her jump up on a picnic table so that more people can pet her at once. Erin describes Agnes as the most loving animal she has ever had. Agnes is just as smart as her brother Stevie, and knows all the same tricks. Don’t pass on this bonded pair – they’ll make great companions for your Super Bowl party! Touchdown!
