Fun Facts:
Morty is a hero! He saved his mom’s life when someone broke into their home overnight! He will bark if someone passes along the fence of his home, so he definitely feels he is supposed to be the policeman in his home. But just because he has a protective side, it is just when it comes to his family…otherwise, this guy is just a “big ol’ baby” who loves attention, being told he’s a good boy and snuggling.
He is very playful (his favorite toy is a rope toy) and he will try to show them off and convince you to play with him. While out in the yard he will get the Zoomies because he is so happy and joyful to be playing. He plays and interacts with dogs of all sizes and kinds.
He is not destructive and remains calm when left alone in the house. He will sleep on his dog bed or wherever he has permission to sleep. Like many dogs, he’s not a fan of thunder or fireworks and will curl up in a ball until the drama is over.
He has no aggressive tendencies either – when he is on his leash he may pull on it when he sees people or other dogs, but it’s just because he’s excited and happy.
