Do you have space for these old bonded girls in your home? Meet Layla and Koda! Their owner is in the Army Reserves and will be deploying overseas. The girls are currently located in Chapel Hill, NC, but a family member who will help with transport is in Pawleys Island, SC.  The ideal foster location would be within a 4-hour drive of either area. Both dogs are very sweet and are extremely bonded, and would need to stay together.

Layla

  • Female, Walker Hound
  • 12 years old, 60 pounds
  • Low energy
  • Good with people, children, dogs, and farm animals
  • Untested with cats

Fun Facts:

Her owner describes Layla as their little princess.  She prefers being indoors, lying on her bed and just relaxing. This sweet old girl loves giving kisses and being pet.  Layla only really goes outside to go to the bathroom, or if it is a nice day, she will want to lay in the sun.

Koda

  • Female, Boxer Lab Mix
  • 6 years old, 60 pounds
  • Medium energy
  • Good with people, children, dogs, and farm animals
  • Untested with cats

Fun Facts:

Koda loves her big sis and will lay her when they are relaxing. Koda is a shy girl, but she will want to cuddle with you and give you kisses once she gets to know you. Koda loves being outside on nice days and just hanging out. When inside, she enjoys your company but will tend to stay near her sister.
