Koda’s owner is in the military and is receiving medical and PTSD treatment. The owner’s mother temporarily cares for Koda but has breathing issues and allergies. Koda is currently located in Columbia, TN, but the owner’s mother is willing to transport within a day’s driving distance.

Fun Facts:
Koda is an adorable, trained, energetic, cuddly, social, fun-filled 2-year-old pup. He loves to fetch (though he doesn’t understand frisbees), stuffed animals, being around humans, belly rubs, and ear scratches. Koda was trained through a 4-week board and trained program, six weeks of private lessons, and group classes. He knows to sit, down (lay down), stay, heel, go-to place, and here. He knows agility equipment (ramps, hoops, tunnels), though he doesn’t seem to like the hurtles and will sit down in front of them and refuse to jump. Koda is a total sweetheart and wants to be by your side. He loves to cuddle with you and will sleep with you if you let him. Koda loves long walks, going to the dog park, and playing with other dogs. Koda can be a bit timid around larger alpha dogs and would prefer to play with like-minded pups.
Since Koda has Cocker Spaniel’s floppy ears, they have to be maintained and cleaned weekly. The owner will supply an ear solution that is squeezed into his ear canal, massaged gently at the base of it, and then wipe up his ear. If not cleaned, he’s prone to ear infections.
