Bagheera and Kipling’s owner is in the ARMY and received PCS orders, and the unaccompanied housing does not allow pets. It is breaking the owner’s heart, and she is hoping that someone will care for her babies until she returns. Bagheera and Kipling are extremely bonded, and the owner would prefer they stay together. The owner is able to transport up to eight hours away from Saint Roberts, MO, but is willing to accept transportation assistance if available.

BAGHEERA FUR FACTS:

  • Male DSH, black
  • 4 years old, 13 pounds
  • Low energy, litter box trained
  • Indoor only

FUN FACTS:

Bagheera is a sweet kitty, who is very mellow and loves to wrestle and play with his brother. Bagheera enjoys your company and will follow you around to get pet or to just be in the same room as you. Bagheera is litter box trained and is very particular and prefers an extremely clean litter box that is cleaned daily.

Bagheera is very shy and is fearful of dogs. The owner states he might acclimate to dogs if the dog is extremely mellow and would not bother him. Bagheera has lived with other cats, but it takes time for him to adjust. The owner states it might be best for Bagheera and Kipling to be the only cats in a home.

KIPLING FUR FACTS:

  • Male DSH, tabby
  • 2 years old, 10 pounds
  • Medium energy, litter box trained
  • Indoor only

FUR FACTS:

Kipling is very bonded to his brother Bagheera and loves to play, hang out and sleep with each other. Kipling is a real cuddle bug. When you get home, he will want to lay on top of you and get belly rubs. Kipling is just the sweetest kitty who loves to be loved.

Just like his brother, Kipling does not care for other pets and is fearful of dogs. The owner states that over time they could acclimate to other pets.

The owner feels the best foster home would be a home without other pets or young children. While they are good with all children,  the owner believes older children would be optimal. Can you help keep these beautiful babies together and foster them till the owner can return?
