Can someone open their home for 4 or 5 months for this sweet little girl? Gamora’s owners are in the Navy and received last-minute PCS orders to Japan. Once settled, they will transfer Gamora overseas to them and will need their foster to assist by getting her to the international transport company they have secured.
Gamora is currently located in Chantilly, VA and is able to be transported within a 3-hour radius of the DC-Metro area. She needs a foster home from November 1, 2022 – February 28, 2023.

Fun Facts
1-year-old Collie Mix Gamora is the sweetest little girl and has a great temperament; she gets along with people, children, dogs, and cats. Gamora enjoys going for walks, jogging and playing fetch but also likes lying around and watching squirrels and the comings and goings of the neighborhood. She loves being around other dogs, at the park or during play sessions at doggie daycare.
Gamora is a cuddle bug, who loves to snuggle and give kisses. She is quiet most of the time; she may bark in the crate if she hears someone in the house and she will whimper a little when she wants to go outside. At night she will snuggle in with her owner for a good sleep.
While she is settling down, Gamora is still in the puppy stage and should be crated when left unattended. When she was younger, she would chew on shoes and socks, but she is growing out of this behavior. Gamora’s ideal foster will be prepared for young, puppy behaviors and also provide her with plenty of opportunities to play, learn and exercise.
