Get to know Apollo! This 2-year-old Boxer-Lab Mix is a PACT success story, having previously found a safe haven while his owner was at basic training. Apollo needs to find a new foster immediately through the estimated end date of 8/ 2023 (possibly longer) while his owner completes additional training programs with the National Guard.
Apollo and his owner were able to enjoy safety and peace of mind last time around and we’d love to help them again. Are you the one to help this good-natured dog reunite with his family in the future?
Apollo is currently located in Pittsburgh, PA, and is able to be transported up to 2 hours within the Tri-State area or beyond.

Fun Facts
Apollo is a very sweet, submissive young dog who loves attention. He loves snuggling, wants to be petted and really enjoys being in the same room as his people. He enjoys playing with other dogs of all sizes – at home or at the park – or just hanging out with them. He makes new friends easily and believes all other dogs love him, just like he loves them.
His owner describes him as “the best-natured guy you can imagine,” and while he is high-energy, he is a good boy who will let you know when he needs to go out by alerting at the door and rarely barks otherwise.
Apollo is very submissive and does not know how to defend himself from dominant dogs, so a foster would have to be mindful of any situation that might potentially stress him.
