Ryan is a new member of the US Navy and is already underway at basic training. Ryan left his dog, Atlas, with his mom before heading to training, but she is having a tough time keeping up with his energy and attending to her own multiple pets. Ryan and Judy are hoping a PACT foster family would be willing to give Atlas the attention he deserves.
Atlas is a 2 year old, 80lbs, neutered male Siberian Husky. Atlas was recently neutered and will need a foster who is able to keep an eye on him and make sure he’s not too active while he heals. Atlas is a high energy dog who will require regular exercise and mental stimulation. Atlas enjoys the company of other dogs, but some other pups are put off by his high energy, so he should always be supervised at play. Atlas is crate trained and working on his leash manners, and responds to commands for sit, stay, and lay down. Judy and Ryan say that although Atlas is a bit of a handful, he’s eager to please and smart. He’s quick to learn new commands and would do best in an active home. Please consider giving this special pup a safe place to stay.
