Joel is a member of the US Army, currently stationed in barracks housing. While in the barracks, Joel’s two dogs have been staying with his parents, but unfortunately that arrangement must come to an end soon. Joel is looking for a foster for his dogs from 7/17/2020 – 10/31/2020 near Lehigh Acres, FL.
Jace is a 2 year old, 50 lbs, neutered male Australian shepherd/blue heeler mix. Jace is up to date on his vaccinations and flea/tick prevention. He is well socialized with other dogs, cats, and kids 6+ years old. He is super energetic and loves to go to the dog park, for hikes, long walks, and runs. Jace would do best in an active and athletic home where he would get plenty of exercise and some additional leash training, as well as a lot of love. Jace is a total cuddle bug once he settles in.
Peanut is a 2 year old, 50 lbs, spayed female pit bull terrier. She is up to date on her vaccinations and flea/tick prevention. Peanut is a total sweetheart and gets along well with other dogs, cats, and kids 6+ years old. She’s a little more low key than her brother Jace, but still loves to go for long walks and on trips to the park. Peanut could also use some help with her leash manners, and is the sweetest and most loving pup you’ll ever meet. Joel says one look into her eyes will have you melting! Peanut is definitely a chewer, and will be provided with plenty of chew toys to keep her occupied, but that also means that fosters should keep an eye on small items they might leave on the floor.
