James is an Army veteran who is currently receiving in-patient treatment for his health and well being. James and his sister Cheryl are attempting to find a foster to care for James’ dog, Silver, during his recovery. Silver will need a foster home near Cherry Hill, NJ, from 7/31/2020 – 7/1/2021
Silver is an 11 year old, 30 lbs, neutered male cocker spaniel. Silver is up to date on his vaccinations and flea/tick prevention. Silver is a special needs senior: he has glaucoma, is blind and almost entirely deaf. Silver will need special attention, and extra TLC to help him be the best dog he can be. His foster should be okay with utilizing puppy pads in the home as well as providing Silver with short outdoor walks. He should be the only pet in the household, or he could be with a low-key, easy going doggy buddy. Despite his disabilities, Silver is the most loving pup you’ll ever meet. Most importantly, he’s James’ best buddy.
