Christopher is a member of the US Air Force and has just changed stations overseas with his family. The family kitty, Pepper, was originally supposed to fly with the family, but due to increased restrictions due to COVID-19, Pepper’s ticket was delayed. Pepper is currently staying with Chris’s parents, who recently realized they have a cat allergy. So Pepper’s in a bit of a pickle! PACT is hoping to match Pepper with a great foster near Las Vegas, NV, starting ASAP – 10/31/2020, when she’ll hopefully be able to hop on a plane and rejoin her family.
Pepper is a 13 year old, 10 lbs, spayed female domestic short haired cat. She is microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. Chris says, “Pepper is very low maintenance and very independent. Once she is comfortable with you she loves to just hang out around you. Not much of a cuddler unless she is in the mood. She is very sweet and will talk to you if you do. Pepper lived with dogs in the past, so she would be fine as long as they enjoy a cat. I am not sure how she will do with other cats. We adopted her when she was almost one from a cat shelter. She is now 13 and hasn’t been around other cats since then. She has been with our son since he was born and he is now 10. She kept watch over him when he was first born and as he became a toddler she never scratched or bit him. She is a very sweet cat and loves to hang out with you. She does enjoy more of a quiet house, but is okay with kids of all ages.”
