Duke and Yager need a foster in PA/NJ/DE!

Joseph is a member of the US Marines and is going on a 2 year long assignment from 8/1/2020 – 8/1/2022.  Joseph has no one to care for his two dogs, Duke and Yager, near their home in Willow Grove, PA.  Can you offer these two social butterflies a place to stay?

Duke is a 5 year old, 70lbs, neutered male Staffordshire Terrier.  Duke is microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention.  Duke is crate trained and knows commands for sit, lay down, speak, and come.  He needs a strong handler on leash.  Duke does well with other dogs after a positive introduction, but he likes to be the leader in social situation.  Duke is a 70lbs lap dog who Joseph has had since he was 5 weeks old. He’s lived with kids of all ages and other dogs.  Joseph says that he can be highly adaptable if you give him the chance.

Yager is a 2 year old, 50 lbs, neutered male Australian shepherd/hound mix.  He is also microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention.  Yager is good with kids and dogs, and Joseph says he’s a big goofy/lovey baby.  Yager is crate trained and knows commands for sit, lay down, and come.  Both pups would be happiest with a yard to run around in and plenty of walks.
